Friday News: 5/28-6/1

Only a week and a half left in the school year! Here's a look at our week:

Reading: This week we read two different versions of Jack and the Beanstalk!

Writing: The students finished their group research projects on a continent and worked on putting all their information on a poster.













Math: We learned about 3D shapes and the relationship between 2D and 3D shapes. We also learned the fractions halves, thirds, and fourths.

Bible: This week we continued learning about the fruit of the Spirit. We learned about PEACE (I won't be afraid because I trust God) and PATIENCE (I will wait without complaining).


Important Information:

1. Spelling Words: inside, outside, without, forgave, Sunday, forever, anything, butterfly, underline, flashlight, sometimes, basketball, sunburned, newspaper, grandfather, grandmother, early, busy

2. Memory Verse: In the same way, let your line shine so others can see it. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will bring glory to your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

3. Please remember that the last day of school is Wednesday, June 13th. School will end at 12:30pm and we will be having a celebratory lunch together as a class. There will be no school on this day.
