Only two more weeks left of school! This week we were busy finishing up some of our big end of the year projects.  We also got to have some fun doing some out of the ordinary activities!

For Reading this week, we rehearsed and put on a play about the story of the Three Little Pigs.  We practiced as a class and in our individual groups.  On Wednesday and Thursday we practiced in front of our classmates and got some helpful hints on how to make our scene better.  Today I got to film the students doing their scene.  We are excited to share the full video with you soon!

In Writing this week, we wrote the final copies of our Fractured Fairy Tales and illustrated them.  The students were very excited to make their own little fairy tale book.  For Math we spent some time talking about Division and Multiplication.  We also reviewed how to add and subtract money amounts at a store.  In Bible we continued learning about the Holy Spirit.  We learned that the Holy Spirit gives us power and love and helps us to control ourselves.  We saw how the Holy Spirit was at work in the lives of Stephen and Phillip from the Bible and helped them not be afraid.

Today we also had the privilege of having some of the 4th graders come in and read to us.  Each 4th grader wrote a book this year and came to share them with us.  Here are some pictures from today:
