Happy Spring Break!

I hope you are enjoying your Spring Break! On Friday we had our Culture Fair. We went around to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms to learn about different countries.

Here's a look at our last week of school:

Reading: We focused on Author's Purpose. We read several books and identified why the author wrote them.

Writing: We finished our Opinion Writing unit. On Friday we gave out awards to some of our favorite books.

Math: This week we learn about clocks. We learned how to tell time to the hour and half hour.

Bible: We finished learning about Passion Week. We learned how Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead.

Important Information:

1. Spelling Words: chore, farmer, corn, orange, harvest, morning, Lord, arms, horses, hard, before, star, store, March, important, June, Wednesday

2. Memory Verse: You can't be saved by believing in anyone else. God has given people no other name under heaven that will save them. Acts 4:12

3. On Friday, April 20th we will have Kid City. More information will be coming soon!
