Reading: We finished learning about character traits and started learning about main idea and topic. We looked at a group of objects and thought of one word that connected them all together.
Writing: We have been working hard on writing letters about our favorite books! This week we finished our letter writing and next week we will move on to writing nominations for our favorite books.
Math: We learned about graphs. We learned how to read picture graphs, make and read bar graphs, and make line plots.
Bible: This week we finished our unit on parables. We learned that God has given each of us different abilities and talents and that He wants us to use them to honor Him and help others.

3. Scholastic Order: We have a new Scholastic Book Order! If you would like to order you can go to https://world-shop.scholastic.co.uk/schools/okinawa-christian-school-intl. You can also fill out the order form and return it to school. The last day to order is March 24th.
4. Student Led Conferences will be March 20th and 21st.
5. Our 2nd Grade Field Trip to the Aquarium will be Friday, March 23rd. We will need 5 parents volunteers to help us on that day. Permission Slips will go home next Monday.
