Friday News 1/14-1/18

We had a great week with Kite Day and Parent Observations. It was a great day to be outside together and fly our kites.

Here's a look at the rest of our week:

Reading: We finished learning how to draw conclusions. We worked in partners to draw conclusions based on four clues, we drew conclusions while reading, and finished the week by drawing conclusions from the Pigeon books by Mo Willems.

Writing: We continued to write our Nominations for our favorite books. We learned how to add quotes and important parts to our writing to convince the reader.

Math: We finished our unit on three-digit addition. Next week we will start three-digit subtraction.

Bible: We learned two miracles of Jesus. First we learned how Jesus healed a Centurion's servant from far away. We also learned how Jesus healed a paralyzed man and forgave His sins.
