Here's a look at the rest of our week:
Reading: We finished learning how to summarize a story.
Writing: This week we edited and published our last personal narrative!
Math: We finished learning about two-digit addition and took our chapter 3 test.
Social Studies: We learned about Africa! We wrote in hieroglyphics and we played several games that come from Africa.
Bible: This week's story was about Elijah's contest with the prophets of Baal to see whose god was the true God. We learned that God is the true God who answers prayer.
Important Information:
1. Monthly Bible Verse: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
2. The OCSI Holiday Market will be tomorrow from 10-2 in the gym.
3. Our 1st and 2nd grade Harvest Day will be Wednesday, November 27th. We will be learning about Thanksgiving through different crafts and activities. We will also be having pie day!
