Friday News 4/1-4/5

We had a great Field Day! Even though it was rainy we enjoyed our Field Day activities in the gym, lunch together, and fun activities in the classroom.

STATION 1: Cup Stacking

Fun Classroom Activities:

Reading: We learned about Facts and Opinions. We learned that a fact is something that can be proven to be true. An opinion is what you think about something.

Writing: We finished our research projects on the continents. We made a poster with our information and then presented it to the rest of the class.

Math: We finished learning about time and took our chapter test. We learned about A.M. and P.M. and practiced identifying what time of day an event happened.

Bible: We learned about Jesus' resurrection from the dead and about how he appeared to His disciples.

Important Information:

1. Spelling Words: chore, farmer, corn, orange, harvest, morning, Lord, arms, horses, hard, before, star, store, north, March, important, June, Wednesday

2. Memory Verse: You can't be saved by believing in anyone else. God has given people no other name under heaven that will save them. Acts 4:12

3. Kid City will be Friday, April 19th from 12:30-3:00. If you would like to help at one of our stations please let me know or fill out the parent volunteer form that was sent home this week.
