Friday News 2/18-2/22

We had a wonderful week celebrating our love for books and reading! Here are some pictures from the week:

Monday: Stuffed Animal Day

 Thursday: Buddy Reading Day and Wear a Shirt with Words

Here's a look at the rest of our week:

Reading: This week we celebrated books! See above for some fun pictures from the week! :)

Writing: We continued writing our poems! This week we learned how to add patterns to our poems and how to write poems with different moods.

Math: This week we started learning about graphs! We learned how to take a survey, make a tally graph, make a picture graph, and make a bar graph.

Bible: We finished learning about Jesus's miracles. We learned about Jesus raising his friend Lazarus back from the dead. We finished the week by making a puzzle to show all the things we learned about Jesus's power.

2. Memory Verse: Forgive one another, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done. Ephesians 4:32

3. Please mark Friday, March 22nd on your calendars! We will have our 2nd grade field trip on that day. More information will be coming soon!
